Some Interesting Observations
Since 1991, and before, the Lions Clubs in MD 14 have consistently gained fewer members than they have dropped.
The number of Lions in our Multiple shows an almost linear decrease over time.
Note that the last line of data represents the numbers of this current year through January 30, 2008.
During the period of interest, the population of the state of Pennsylvania has grown about 2% while the numbe of Lions has decreased by about 32% and our number of clubs has decreased by 23%. If we projected this data backward to when the Multiple was last redistricted, we would show greater losses compared to greater gains for the population of our state. |
