Region 3 Zone B Meeting
Lions of the Braddock, Monroeville and Pitcairn Lions met at UPMC McKeesport Hospital to have dinner, tour the Lions Diabetes Center and an informational seminar on diabetes. Each Lion donated $10 for the dinner and donated the monies to the Lions Diabetes Center. |

CSFII Model Club
CSFII Region Chairman PDG Dennis McCarthy presented Visionary Banner patches to McKeesport Lions member Manny Skammangus and KL Louis Horvath at the February Cabintet Meeting. The club, at present, is the first and only CSFII Model Club in District 14-B. The club has pledged $10,000 and has paid over $5,000 of that pledge. |

Pittsburgh Host Lions Club
The Lions Club of Pittsburgh hosted a dinner at the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children on February 28th. Special guest speaker was Craig MacFarlane. The club presented the school with a large check in the amount of $6,400.00. This was the proceeds from their annual Christmas Tree Sale. The club has been having this special fundraiser for the over 50 years for WPSBC. Lions Club of Pittsburgh
The Pittsburgh Host Lions Club hosted their Annual Christmas Tree Sale at Western PA School for Blind Children. The club has had this service project for over 50 years. Each year the club sells hundreds of Christmas trees as a fundraiser for the school |

Rigatoni Night at Glassport Lions
The Glassport Lions held their 30th annual Rigatoni Night on Tuesday, October 11, 2007 at the Sons of Italy Hall. The club invites all clubs to join in an evening of psta, wine and fellowship each year. Each year Lions of our District meet to renew old friendships and make new ones. This year was a banner year with some 184 Lions in attendance. The Duquesne and McKeesport Leos were there to Serve their fellow Lions as club projects. An enjoyable evening was had by all! |

Ohio Valley Lions Club Charter Night
The Ohio Valley Lions held their Charter Night in September 2006. This was our new club chartered on June 27th. The original membership was 20 but by the time of the grand affair there were 8 more to add to their original numbers. Shown in the picture: Left, King Lion Richard Stack and KL Jack Boyle who is the Guiding Lion for the club. The club was sponsored by the Coraoplis Lions. |

Passing of the Banner Night
The Passing of the Banner Night was held in September 2006 at the Westwood Golf Club in West Mifflin. There were 80 Lions attending from clubs throughout the district.
