Our club raises monies for club charities with the following . . .

Farmer's Market (at Gateway High School parking lot from May through mid-November)
Koeze Nut Sale (Fall - in time for the holidays)
Annual Golf Outing
White Cane Days (May & October)
Lions Blind Seals Mailing to homes
 
The preminary recipients for donations are Blind & Vision Rehabilitation Services of Pittsburgh, Blind Outdoor Leadership Development, Western PA School for Blind Children, Diabets Research, Scholarships for students of Gateway High School and the Early Learning Institute.
 

MONROEVILLE LIONS CLUB was sponsored by the Turtle Creek Lions Club. 

It received its charter from District Governor James L. Wrigley on November 13, 1952. 

The first President was Lion Howard A. Amour and the first Secretary was Lion Andrew L. Cummings.
