GRANDVIEW, Pittsburgh, Lions Club was sponsored by the Etna Lions Club.  It received its charter from District Governor Eston O. Poorbaugh on March 24, 1949. 

Lion John Eichenmuller was the first President and Lion Norman H. Russell was the first Secretary.  Lion John Eichenmuller served as District Governor in 1956-57.  Other members of the Club have served the District, including Lion Raymond J. Slater as Zone Chairman. 

The Grandview Club has sponsored three Lions Clubs: Boston-Greenock-Mount Vernon, Imperial and South Side, Pittsburgh.
